Vedic math
Classical speed-calculation techniques, the Vedic sutras, that shorten long arithmetic and build genuine mental maths, taught alongside the school method rather than instead of it.
A second method, not a replacement
Vedic maths is a set of sixteen classical sutras, short working rules that make particular shapes of calculation dramatically faster: numbers near a base, squaring, certain multiplications. They are genuinely quick where they apply, and children are taught to recognise exactly where that is.
The everyday value is confidence and checking. A student who can calculate in their head, and reach an answer two ways, works with real assurance and catches their own mistakes in a timed paper, which is where most avoidable marks are lost.
Why learn Vedic maths
Multiply your child's arithmetic abilities with the speedy Vedic sutras.
Speed
Calculation many times faster than long written methods, on the shapes of arithmetic the sutras cover.
Mental arithmetic
Working entirely in the head, without pen and paper, so answers arrive in seconds and stay accurate.
Love for numbers
The techniques make calculation feel simple, and children who find arithmetic easy start to enjoy it.
Confidence
Speed with accuracy shows in every timed test, and the assurance carries into the rest of maths.
By the end of the course
Faster multiplication, division and squaring
Mental arithmetic without pen and paper
A second way to check an answer in a timed test

Where the teaching puts its weight
Three things we stress for maximum value to every student.
Mastering the concepts
Each sutra is understood and proved, not just memorised, so children can apply it beyond the worksheet and beyond academics.
Building pace
Sutras and sub-sutras are practised repeatedly, in drills that raise calculation speed week on week.
Choosing the right tool
Drills mix problems where a shortcut applies with ones where it does not, so the child learns to choose, and the school method stays secure.
How a Vedic math course runs
One technique at a time, each tested against the school method.
Baseline
A free class establishing which school methods are already secure, so the shortcuts are built on arithmetic that can carry them.
Technique and proof
Each technique is shown, then shown why it works. A child who understands the sutra applies it correctly and remembers it.
Recognising the case
Drills mixing problems where the shortcut applies with ones where it does not, so the child learns to choose.
Timed use
Applying the techniques under exam conditions, and using them to check answers reached the school way.
Every programme is taught one to one by a specialist, on the principles set out in our coaching methodology, under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system. Parents' own accounts are on our reviews page.
What your child gets in the programme
Structured, live and personal, with parents kept in the loop throughout.
Live online classes
Every class is live with the tutor, never a recorded lesson.
Structured learning plan
Four levels of three months each, with a clear plan for every week.
Two or more classes a week
A frequency that keeps techniques fresh and pace building.
Small group and personal batches
One-to-one or small groups, so every child is watched and heard.
Fun practice sheets
Engaging worksheets between classes that make the drilling feel like play.
Concept-based weekly tests
A short test on each concept as it lands, so mastery is measured rather than assumed.
Live Q&A and doubt sessions
Dedicated sessions where students bring anything that has not yet clicked.
Parent updates

What parents of vedic math students say
“I enrolled both my boys for the Vedic Math course. The teacher was very knowledgeable, thorough, organized and so patient with the boys. They loved these sessions and are now able to apply these skills in their regular school work too. Thank you!”

“Augment Edutech has been an absolute game changer for my son's education. He first started with their Abacus and Vedic Math programs, and the experience was fantastic. The tutors are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at making learning both effective and engaging. After seeing such expected results, we enrolled him in their Math and English classes. Over the past four months, we've seen an improvement in his performance and, more importantly, a huge boost in his confidence. We're so grateful to the Augment Edutech team for their dedication and personalized approach. We highly recommend them to any parent looking for quality, one-on-one tutoring.”

“I highly recommend Augment Edutech. My son and daughter have learnt Abacus with them and I am really happy about the boost in their numeric abilities. My son who is currently in Grade 5 happened to fear maths and that's where we joined him with Augment. We didn't had any idea about what abacus is, but Jyoti explained it so well to us. Within 3 months we found his confidence and approach in maths being improved. The teachers and the class was so disciplined and fun, both my kids waited for classes luckily. No my son and daughter both are toppers of their classes :) and are learning Vedic maths with Augment. Same is the case with my niece and nephew who are learning Abacus with Augment now. Thanks to the whole team and wishing them all the best.”
