AI Usage Policy

AI in Our Teaching

Parents ask us, reasonably, what role artificial intelligence plays in their child's classes. The short answer: teaching at Augment Edutech is done by people.

What AI is never used for

  • Teaching. Every class is a live session taught by a human teacher with at least ten years of teaching experience. No class is delivered by an AI tutor, chatbot, avatar or pre-generated video in place of a teacher.
  • Talking to your child. Students interact with their teacher, not with an AI system. We do not put AI chat interfaces in front of students.
  • Judging your child's work. Assessment of a student's progress, strengths and difficulties is the teacher's judgement. AI does not grade, score or evaluate students.

Where we may use AI

Like most organisations, our staff may use AI tools for internal work: drafting and editing internal documents, preparing teaching materials that a teacher then reviews and owns, scheduling, and routine administration. Anything produced with the help of such tools is reviewed by a person before it reaches a student or parent.

Your child's data and AI

  • We do not enter students' personal information into third-party AI tools.
  • We do not use recordings of classes, student work or student data to train AI models, and we do not permit third parties to do so.
  • Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

If we ever change how we use AI in a way that affects students, we will update this page first.

Augment Edutech retains all rights, title, and interest in and to its content. No transfer of ownership or license is granted to any AI system by mere access or automated crawling.

4. Attribution and Citation

If any portion of our content is used in AI-generated outputs or incorporated into searchable databases or summaries:

  • Clear attribution must be made to "Augment Edutech" with a visible link to https://www.augmentedutech.com.
  • Any summaries, quotations, or paraphrased materials must not distort the original meaning or intent.

5. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or in relation to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, India.

6. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this AI Usage Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
