Online tutoring for students in the UK
Taught to your child’s own exam board specification, with marked practice scored against real grade boundaries rather than a teacher’s impression.
Pick the subject.
We match the teacher.
Every tutor teaches one subject to one child, to the National Curriculum rather than to a syllabus of our own.
What UK families come to us with
Almost always a specification. A student sitting AQA maths and one sitting Edexcel are preparing for differently structured papers with different question styles, and generic revision serves neither as well as targeted practice on their own board’s past papers.
The second is the tier decision. A foundation entry at GCSE caps the grade at 5, and families usually want an honest read from marked work before the school makes that call, not a reassurance afterwards.
The curriculum your child is graded on in United Kingdom
Tutors work from your child’s own school material and assessments. The school year runs early september to late july, in three terms with a half-term break in each.
| Stage | Curriculum taught | Year groups | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Key Stage 1 and 2 | National Curriculum | Years 1-6 | Key Stage 2 SATs |
| Key Stage 3 | National Curriculum | Years 7-9 | School assessment |
| GCSE | AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR and WJEC specifications, foundation and higher tier | Years 10-11 | GCSE and Cambridge IGCSE, graded 9-1 |
| Sixth form | AS and A Level specifications, including Further Mathematics | Years 12-13 | A Level, graded A*-E |

How tutoring runs for UK families
Taught to your board and tier, scheduled in GMT or BST.
Free trial class
A real lesson with a subject specialist, followed by a discussion of the gaps measured against the specification rather than against the year group.
Specification check
We confirm the exam board and tier, then work from that board’s past papers, mark schemes and examiner reports.
Weekly slot after school
Weekday evenings and weekends in GMT or BST, with the same tutor each week.
Marked against grade boundaries
Practice questions scored the way the board scores them, including method marks, so a predicted grade is evidence rather than a guess.
How a lesson is planned and taught is set out in our coaching methodology, and the quality system behind it is ISO 9001:2015 certified. If you would rather hear it from families first, read what parents say about us, or see who we are.
You hear it from the teacher, in United Kingdom time.
Regular parent-teacher meetings are part of the programme, and you can ask for one whenever you want. Classes sit in GMT and BST, and the school year runs early september to late july, in three terms with a half-term break in each.
- Scheduled in GMT and BST
- Parent-teacher meetings, regular and on demand
- Genuine feedback directly from the teacher, not a report template
