Science tutoring for students across Canada
Matched to your province, and in the senior years to the exact course code your child is enrolled in.
The senior sciences are taken by code, and the prerequisites are strict
Ontario senior science runs by course code, and the prerequisite chain is unforgiving. Grade 11 university-preparation biology, chemistry and physics each assume specific Grade 10 content, and Grade 12 assumes Grade 11. A student who scraped through one year meets the consequence in the next, usually in the first unit.
Grade 9 science is now de-streamed in Ontario, a single course, SNC1W, spanning biology, chemistry, physics and earth and space science, which widens the range of readiness inside one class in exactly the way de-streamed mathematics does. The gaps that leaves are individual rather than predictable, so the first job is diagnosis rather than revision.
Science across every grade group in Canada
Tutors start from a diagnostic in the free trial, then teach what your child’s class is covering now. Examinations supported: Grade 11 and 12 university-preparation science course marks.

The real problem is rarely more practice
"He passed Grade 11 chemistry and is drowning in Grade 12."
The prerequisite chain is strict and the gaps carry forward. The trial class identifies which Grade 11 units did not land rather than re-teaching the Grade 12 unit more slowly.
"Her Grade 12 science marks decide her offers."
They do, and the first-term unit is often the one that sets the average. Starting in September rather than in February is the single most useful decision families make here.
"Grade 9 science is de-streamed now."
Which means one class covers a wide range of readiness at one pace. The gaps are individual, so we diagnose rather than assume.
"We are in BC and the course names are different."
They are, and the competency-based structure differs from Ontario’s. We work from your child’s own course outline.

How tutoring runs for Canadian families
Matched to your province, scheduled from Newfoundland through to Pacific time.
Free trial class
A real lesson, and a report on where your child stands against their provincial curriculum rather than a national average.
Province and course check
We confirm the province and the exact course code before a tutor is matched, then work from your child’s own course material.
Weekly slot in your time zone
Evenings and weekends across six time zones, with the same tutor each week.
Progress before report cards
Regular parent-teacher meetings, and one on demand whenever you ask, so you are not learning about a problem from the report card.
The same approach applies to every subject: our coaching methodology explains how a lesson is planned, marked and followed up. You can also see everything we teach in Canada or read reviews from parents.
What families say about science
“I am happy to recommend Augment Edutech to anyone looking for Science tuition for their children. Their classes are well structured and the teachers are qualified and very competent. Overall value for money.”
USA
“The physics classes are great with Prakriti mam! My child gets lessons that fit their needs, and the teacher make things easy to understand. I recommend it if you want your child to do well in physics.”
USA
“Augment Edutech has really helped my child learn better. The teachers give each student attention and make science interesting. My child now understands things more easily and feels more confident.”

The math inside chemistry and physics is the real problem.
Is it all theory over a video call?
Can you help with the Grade 12 independent investigation?
Do you cover all three sciences at Grade 12?
My child wants engineering or medicine. When should tutoring start?
My child studies science in French immersion. Can you help?

Tell us your child's year group and what they are finding difficult. The last field matters most: a specific worry produces a better tutor match than a subject name.
- A live lesson, not a sales call
- A discussion of the curriculum and your expectations afterwards
