Online tutoring for students in the United States
One-to-one classes taught to the standards your district actually assesses, scheduled after school across all four mainland time zones.
Pick the subject.
We match the teacher.
Every tutor teaches one subject to one child, to the Common Core State Standards rather than to a syllabus of our own.
What US families come to us with
Two patterns dominate. The first is a student who coped until Algebra I and is now losing ground in a class that has moved on without them. Algebra I is the gate in the American system: it decides the Geometry and Algebra II sequence, which decides whether Precalculus and Calculus are reachable before graduation.
The second is a junior with a test date, a target score and not enough time. Both need the same first move, which is finding the specific prerequisite that is missing rather than re-teaching the current chapter more slowly.
The curriculum your child is graded on in United States
Tutors work from your child’s own school material and assessments. The school year runs mid-august or early september to late may or june, in two semesters.
| Stage | Curriculum taught | Grades | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elementary | Common Core for mathematics and English language arts, NGSS for science | Grades K-5 | State assessments |
| Middle school | Common Core ratios, proportional relationships and expressions; pre-algebra through Algebra I; NGSS | Grades 6-8 | State assessments |
| High school | Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus; Biology, Chemistry, Physics | Grades 9-12 | SAT and ACT |
| Advanced Placement | AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics 1 and 2, AP English Language and Literature | Grades 10-12 | AP examinations, College Board |
Teaching live online since 2010.

How tutoring runs for US families
Scheduled in your time zone and matched to the standards your district uses.
Free trial class
A real lesson with a subject specialist, followed by a discussion of the specific gaps found rather than a general impression.
Standards check
We ask which standards your district follows, then work from your child’s own assignments, quizzes and graded work.
Weekly slot in your time zone
Evenings and weekends across Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time, with the same tutor each week.
Progress you hear first-hand
Regular parent-teacher meetings, plus one on demand whenever you want an honest read before a test date rather than after it.
How a lesson is planned and taught is set out in our coaching methodology, and the quality system behind it is ISO 9001:2015 certified. If you would rather hear it from families first, read what parents say about us, or see who we are.
You hear it from the teacher, in United States time.
Regular parent-teacher meetings are part of the programme, and you can ask for one whenever you want. Classes sit in Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time, and the school year runs mid-august or early september to late may or june, in two semesters.
- Scheduled in Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time
- Parent-teacher meetings, regular and on demand
- Genuine feedback directly from the teacher, not a report template
