Started in 2010, and the method has not changed
We began in 2010 teaching abacus and mathematics to a small number of families. The requests that followed came mostly from parents living abroad who could find tutors easily enough but could not find one who knew their child’s curriculum, and who would be the same person the following week.
That turned out to be the whole business. Today we teach students across more than 20 countries and 200 cities, and the two things families ask for are still the same two: a tutor who knows the syllabus the school is teaching, and continuity.

The limits, stated up front
We do not teach large groups. Small closed groups of similar level exist for families who want them, but the default is one to one, and we will say so when a group would not serve a child.
We do not teach the French-language Canadian curriculum, and we do not offer therapy or clinical assessment. Where a school or clinician has set a programme, tutors work alongside it rather than around it. We do not promise a grade: tutors tell you what is realistic from marked work.
