English tutoring, wherever school is.
Live one-to-one classes in reading, writing and literature, taught to your child's own school programme wherever in the world that school is: scheduled in your time zone, with regular parent-teacher meetings so you always know where things stand.
English is two different subjects, and schools grade them differently.
In some systems English is your child’s first language of study: literature, essays, analysis. In others it is an additional language with its own examination, such as English in the Abitur, the HKDSE English Language paper, or IB English B. And in international schools it can be both at once, with a child reading Macbeth in one lesson and consolidating grammar in the next. Comprehension and composition fail for different reasons, and so do first-language and additional-language English.
The first class establishes which situation your child is actually in and what their school rewards: the Dutch reading-comprehension tradition, the Irish Leaving Certificate’s prescribed texts, the IB’s comparative analysis, or Cambridge IGCSE First versus Second Language English. The plan is written against that, from your child’s own school material and marked work.

One tutor, matched to the programme
Every tutor has extensive experience and qualification in their subject, and teaches one subject to one child at a time. For international-school families we match by programme: Cambridge First or Second Language English, IGCSE Literature, or IB English A and B. For national systems the tutor works from the school’s own texts, past papers and marked essays.
Classes are in English throughout, which for many families is half the point: a weekly hour where the child reads, writes and argues in English with a specialist, whatever language the rest of school runs in.
