Maths tuition for students in Singapore
Taught to the MOE syllabus at the subject level your child actually sits, from model drawing at primary to H2 Mathematics at junior college.
The method is as examinable as the answer
Singapore mathematics is taught through a specific progression: concrete, then pictorial, then abstract. Model drawing is not a trick for weak students, it is the pictorial stage, and a child who skips it often reaches Primary 5 able to compute but unable to represent a problem they have not seen before. PSLE Paper 2 is built almost entirely from problems they have not seen before.
The scoring makes the diagnosis matter. A PSLE score is the sum of four Achievement Levels and runs from 4 to 32, with 4 the best. Moving maths from AL4 to AL3 changes the total as much as any other subject would, so the useful question in a PSLE year is which two topics are actually costing marks, not how to revise everything again.
Maths across every level group in Singapore
Tutors start from a diagnostic in the free trial, then teach what your child’s class is covering now. Examinations supported: PSLE, the Secondary Education Certificate, and H1 and H2 A Level Mathematics.

- NMOS and SMOPS preparation, on request
Secondary, G1 to G3
- Algebraic manipulation and factorisation
- Linear and quadratic equations
- Functions and graphs
- Trigonometry and mensuration
- Statistics and probability
- Elementary Mathematics examination technique
- Choosing A-Math at Secondary 3
Additional Mathematics
- Surds, indices and logarithms

The real problem is rarely more practice
"She can calculate but cannot start a problem sum."
That is a representation gap, not an arithmetic one. The fix is model drawing and the standard heuristics taught explicitly, so an unfamiliar problem has a starting move rather than needing inspiration.
"He takes maths at G3 and science at G2."
Which is exactly why we ask for the subject level before matching a tutor. Under Full Subject-Based Banding the two are taught at their own levels, not at an average of them.
"A-Math is much harder than E-Math for him."
They fail for different reasons. A-Math assumes algebraic fluency that E-Math does not require, so A-Math trouble is usually algebra trouble surfacing late. They are taught by different specialists here.
"PSLE is next year and everything needs revising."
It rarely does. The first sessions are diagnostic, because lifting one weak subject by an Achievement Level moves the total more than a broad revision programme across all four.

How tuition runs for Singapore families
MOE syllabus at your child’s subject level, scheduled in Singapore time.
Free trial class
A real lesson with a subject specialist, and a read on which topics are genuinely weak rather than which ones feel hard.
Subject level check
We confirm the level your child takes each subject at, so the material is pitched where they are actually assessed.
Weekly slot in Singapore time
After school and weekends in SGT, with the same tutor each week.
Timed to the school’s own assessments
Parent-teacher meetings planned around the weighted assessments rather than arriving after them, with one on demand whenever you ask.
The same approach applies to every subject: our coaching methodology explains how a lesson is planned, marked and followed up. You can also see everything we teach in Singapore or read reviews from parents.
What families say about maths
“We first contacted Jyoti after coming across Augment EduTech through a research on Google. We wanted help for our child preparing for IGCSE - English. Our child was already doing decent in English but we wanted professional help so he could sharpen his skill and more importantly come to realise that English is not a burden but an essential skill whose relevance extends beyond just curriculum. We got introduced to Ms. PRIYANKA and we were very fortunate to find a person who understand what we wanted to achieve. Over our first discussion she understood what we wanted, where are child was and how to best continue our childs skills development. Over the course of next few months as the classes progressed we noticed that our childs skills improved steadily and reflected in consistent performance. FINALLY in the IGCSE exams he scored a solid A which was the best he ever scored in English in his 2 years of IGCSE. Our child was very happy and we were very happy with the outcome and even his teacher was happy that he delivered a commendable results. We would whole heartedly recommend Augment Edutech to everyone. We also engaged them to prepare our child for Math Olympiads and it was a great experience.”

“The whole concept of abacus is to learn maths in a quite fun, encouraging & by fostering an interest in numbers and basic mathematics. We are so happy that our child enjoy learning maths.”

“My son started with precalculus and calculus, and I am happy to see his progress in 3 months. He is more clear with the concepts and I fee happy to see him helping other students.”
