Math tutoring for students in the United States
From elementary number sense to AP Calculus, taught one to one and aligned to the standards your district assesses.
Algebra I is the gate, and most gaps predate it
In the American sequence Algebra I decides almost everything that follows. It determines whether Geometry and Algebra II run on schedule, which determines whether Precalculus and Calculus are reachable before graduation, which determines which college applications are credible. A student who stalls in Algebra I has not usually failed algebra.
They have usually arrived without secure fractions, negative numbers or proportional reasoning, all of which Common Core places in Grades 5 to 7 and all of which Algebra I silently assumes on day one. Re-teaching the current chapter more slowly does not fix that. Finding the missing prerequisite does, and it is generally a shorter job than parents expect.
Math across every grade group in United States

The real problem is rarely more practice
"She understands it in the session and forgets it by the next week."
Almost always because the practice between sessions is recognition rather than recall: reading worked examples instead of attempting problems cold. The practice set is built to force recall, which feels harder and is the only thing that transfers to a test.
"He is behind but the class has already moved on."
Each session runs two tracks. Part keeps pace with the current unit so he is not lost in the room, and part closes the gap the diagnostic found. Doing only one of the two is why most catch-up attempts fail.
"Her SAT math score will not move."
Past a certain point SAT math stops being a content problem and becomes a timing and question-selection problem. We score sectioned practice to find which it is before spending weeks on the wrong one.
"I cannot help with Algebra II myself."
You are not expected to. A named coordinator handles scheduling, the tutor sets the practice, and you hear how it is going directly from the tutor in regular parent-teacher meetings. Not homework duty.

How tutoring runs for US families
Scheduled in your time zone and matched to the standards your district uses.
Free trial class
A real lesson with a subject specialist, followed by a discussion of the specific gaps found rather than a general impression.
Standards check
We ask which standards your district follows, then work from your child’s own assignments, quizzes and graded work.
Weekly slot in your time zone
Evenings and weekends across Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time, with the same tutor each week.
Progress you hear first-hand
Regular parent-teacher meetings, plus one on demand whenever you want an honest read before a test date rather than after it.
The same approach applies to every subject: our coaching methodology explains how a lesson is planned, marked and followed up. You can also see everything we teach in United States or read reviews from parents.
What US families say about math
“I had an excellent experience with my daughter classes on Abacus. Teachers are very experienced and interact with kids properly. They are not only teaching the Abacus but creates interest in learning math with different number related activities. They are organized, punctual and well connected with parents.”

Find the gap before the next test
One lesson with a subject specialist, then a discussion of which prerequisite is actually missing. No card details, no obligation.
- Free, with no obligation
- Matched to your district’s standards
- Findings you can take to the teacher
Clear answers before you start
Do you teach to Common Core or to our state standards?
Should we focus on the SAT or the ACT?
Do you cover AP Calculus AB and BC?
My child’s school runs the IB programme. Can you support it?
My child is in elementary school. Is tutoring premature?
My child is anxious about math, not just behind. Does tutoring address that?
Is tutoring one to one?
When do sessions run?
What if my child misses a class?
How do you keep parents informed?
How long before a grade moves?
What technical setup does my child need?
Book a free math trial class.
Tell us your child's year group and what they are finding difficult. The last field matters most: a specific worry produces a better tutor match than a subject name.
- A live lesson, not a sales call
- A discussion of the curriculum and your expectations afterwards
- No card details, and nothing starts automatically
